Does anyone know if you are put to sleep to get your tubes tied? And is there a certain age you have to be?

Well I had mine done when I had a csection so was awake when they did it so idk other than that
@nervousmommyca, I want too but I'm so scared! I don't want to add any extra pain to the after birth pain I'm already going to have! When I came home after having my son I felt like o was in labor again
Mostly they just insert these screw type things and your tubes and they close up around them, and they dont put you under and its really fast, after I have this baby I'm having it done!
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
