My first son had jaundice when he was born and they put him under the light for I think 12 hours and it cleared up for the most part and when we got sent home I just had to keep him in the sun as much a possible. By his 1 week wellness check he was all clear

My daughter had it bad. Her count was 21 and they told me that at 24 they can get brain damage. I about had a heart attack when they told me. I had to go back to the hospital and keep her under a light for three days. After that I just power nursed and kept her in the sun as much as I could. It went away after a month.

Her level was btwn 17 and 18.

We stayed in the hospital for 5 days because of my 1st. Her levels were borderline damaging to her. She had to stay under a light for 36 hours. The older they get the more they can tolerate.

My son did light therapy at the hospital and it went immediately away

My daughter is 8 days old and her Bili levels are 19.1 and she’s been checked almost every day for a weeks I feel so bad for her.
