So my daughters umbilical cord fell off this morning and this is how it looks. Will her belly button go in eventually or will she end up having an outie? I don’t remember my sons looking like this

@nikki9109 my doc told me not to tape it and that it would go in but it didn't...I grew up around ppl taping their kids belly button, my best friend definitely did for her daughter...I've never heard anything bad happen
@newlywedmama21, I read about the tapping it down or whatever but it also said it wasn’t good so idk I guess I’ll see what doctor says on Monday
My daughter's looked like that and never went back in, she's 9 now...if I would've known, I would've done the tape it down thing....she's insecure about it..even noticed that she is the only one in the family or her friends with it
My son looked like that to we thought it was hernia but eventually it went in

@jahmiliapayne, that’s what I’m worried about but I also read it can take up till the age of two for it to go in
My daughter looked like that and she is 3 months now and its still out like that so im guessing its going to be a outie
My sons looked like that and i was afraid hed have an outie but it went back to normal with time hes fine now. I just cleaned it with alcohol as the doctor suggested
