This is soooo me to each it’s own but pets don’t belong in the bed especiallyyy cats

Cats are so dirty. (And evil) but I don’t believe any animal should be on a child’s things. I don’t let my dog on the couch or beds. Even though I catch her trying all the time. There’s just too much dirt, shedding and dander involved with a pet to allow them on clothing and beds.

My daughter has a dog and when we first brought her in she stayed inside to get comfortable and she was only allowed to lay around my daughter after she was bathed really good and I never let her get close to my daughters face. My MIL has a dog that literally is treated like a human and I don’t mind her laying around my daughter because she’s extremely clean but I can not stand when she gets in my daughters face trying to lick her and everyone’s like “aww are you giving her kisses” 🙄🙄 likeeeee no she’s putting disgusting germs allllll around my baby’s face and I’m not having it lol

I agree! When i see photos like that i ask myself what is wrong with the person allowing it. Like you said to each it’s own but i personally wouldn’t do it.

I didnt allow it either with my dog and my child. However, I grew up in a house with animals and I did have contact all my life to animals and nothing ever happened to me in fact i have a really good immune system and i think i partially owe it to that. 🤷‍♀️. But I would never do it lol

I have a friend who sleeps with both dogs in her bed and I also thing thats not very sanitary...she also lets her dog eat from her food 🤢 in her plate 😷

I cant stand it either, especially seeing a cat or dog laying all up in the swing or bedding of the child..nasty hairs everywhere

Animals carry LOTS of bacteria, just on their paws too. I'm too much of a germaphobe to even allow our dog in my son's nursery

Yeah I've got cats and a dog and the are barely allowed in her room...and def not allowed to lay on her things.🙅🏾
