So I didn’t work 3 days this week so I kept my youngest home from daycare . But yesterday and today I work so she went back to daycare . Well I thought not taking her would save me some money but nope . I have to pay for the days she didn’t go because she is enrolled as a full time child 🤦🏻♀️ fml 😞
@takiahilk, lol yesss so true 😂 she will definitely not miss another day
@mamizamorano17, I’ll pay whatever price for a peace of mind for a few hours 😂😂😂
@takiahilk, yeah I just had the mind set of saving money lol 😂
@takiahilk, I will . I just recently changed her to full time .
I never kept them home unless they were sick because I never have time to myself or I’m busy doing household things
@mamizamorano17, go over your contract it usually states it especially if she’s full time
@takiahilk, I did fill out paperwork but don’t remember it saying anything about this
You never filled out paper work to enroll your daughter that’s crazy if you didn’t doesn’t seem legit
@mamizamorano17, a contract protects both you and them. I’m not sure how they feel they can enforce a policy that isn’t contracted. I would bring that up with them and maybe they’ll let it slide this time. I would request a written contract as soon as possible. I know that here, in order to be licensed by the state, you have to have written contracts with policies so this raises a red flag for me.
@laniejay, but now I know so I will be taking her wether I work or not .
@laniejay, they just opened so they are still trying to get everything together I guess . Cause all I’ve received is how much I pay a month . It DOESN’T say you pay this a month wether she comes or not .
@mamizamorano17, is this a legitimate day care? You should always have a contract. Even home daycares should.
@laniejay, lol no I don’t or I would’ve known 😅😅😅
@mamizamorano17, don’t you have a contract? It’s usually spelled out in there.
@laniejay, obviously but never had to deal with daycare so didn’t know . They could’ve let me know it was like that when they knew this is my first experience with daycare
You pay for her slot not her attendance. It’s not fair to them to assume they’ll just go without pay because you didn’t bring her.
@mamizamorano17, 😂😂😂
