Not trying to be a bummer just offering some advice as a photographer, never buy bundles like this. Always buy the camera body and then a nice lens. These kit lenses are trash. All of the rest of the stuff is fairly inexpensive, and the body will come with a strap, a battery and charger. Everything else you should buy separately! Huge scams these kits are.
@tennesseehawk Thanks for the advice. But to me the most important part is the body, and the two attachment lenses. Which are all Canon. So, it was worth paying the price I did for just those pieces. The rest is just kind of whatever. Lol.
@boymom123 Was it worth the money? I got the bundle because it was worth it for the canon body and two canon lenses the other stuff was just a bonus. Plus I'm beginner so I figured it was worth it. 🤷♀️
@bhtslove, I like mine came with a little more I wish mine came with a lens hood but one of those lenses is worth 100 bucks the other 60 and the things add up I’d say it’s worth it takes great pics I’ve taken a few of the baby to practice
That’s what I’m saying. Everyone is so drawn to the fact that you get two lenses for that price. Those lenses (the 18-55, and the 75-300) should never be sold. Canon makes those very cheaply to be able to sell in kits like these. I’ve made this mistake of buying a kit, I’ve owned these lenses and this exact camera when I was a beginner, when this camera was new. Just trying to stop someone from making the same mistake I did. If you don’t believe me, at least read reviews :) I guess we all have to learn for ourselves!
@tennesseehawk I have read reviews. And I have done research, aside from having used this exact camera as well. And you can still take good pictures with the 75-300. The 55 - 250 is better, as it has an image stabilizer and so on. But I mean it's more about working within the limits of the lenses ability, and you'll still get good shots if you know what you're doing. I understand what you're saying, but I've taken pictures on the lenses and they're fine. 🤷♀️ It's all about preference I suppose. As I know a lot of people who actually like the 75-300 and get great pictures.
@bhtslove, it’s a good deal I added all my stuff up and it came equal to what I paid if not I paid little less for what came with mine and it takes great pics it’s an Awesome deal for beginners
