We have been trying puréed food with baby boy since he turned 6 months just a taste. But lately at least a week he has been eating it more. But now I think he might be backed up and he needs to poop. What can I give him to help him poop. Natural stuff only. Thanks
I wouldn’t do applesauce. It does the opposite which is why when one has diarrhea they say to do bananas, rice, applesauce, toast. It’s apple juice that helps constipation. Or if you wanna do foods, pears, or prunes. But one oz of apple juice always works within an hour for us, and usually she has a couple blow outs.
Aww poor guy he’s probably straining when he’s trying to get it out, I would try applesauce as well, normally the prunes and applesauce always kick in right away prob just a little constipated
@rachelleclister, hmmm nothing too binding. His body is probably just adjusting. I’d try the prunes or pears, a warm bath and the iloveyou massage
@jellybeans_mumm, he has pooped everyday for the past two to three days but it’s little tiny size poops. Nothing I’m used to. It’s really thick and dark green. But it’s like the size of one to three chocolate chips.
@laniejay, I make homemade baby food. He has eaten strawberries, mangoes, peaches, carrots, butternut squash, green peas.
Prunes/prune juice anything with a P for veggies/fruits, when was the last time he pooped ?
@rachelleclister, no
