Ugh not taking the daycare job I was offered bc after taxes and paying my 50% off daycare I will be working 40hrs to only make $300 per paycheck or $150/wk. It’s exactly what I’m already making babysitting😭

So we are eligible for daycare but because of my so check stubs we now have to pay 900 dollars a month, my so makes about 800 more than I but because he pays the mortgage he said he is not helping with the daycare. Originally I paid daycare and all utilities. But now I am supposed to pay 100 more than his mortgage is, plus utilities I will be completely broke all month. Even if he paid daycare and the mortgage he would still have 1600 hundred a month where as I will have maybe 300 if that. I have never met anyone more selfish than he.
How can I make DayCare drop off easier for my 16moth old son?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

@jovromero, hmm I didn’t know that! A different facility offered me higher pay but the childcare was more expensive. So it balanced out to be the same.

Try to find daycare that will give you a spot for your kids free while working there. Some daycares actually do that.

@laniejay, yes while all that is true I decided it’s not worth being responsible for 10 kids by myself (lead teacher) and away from my kids from 8a-630p everyday for the same amount as right now. I’m able to be there for them and make dinner, clean ect whereas if I took the job we wouldn’t get home till 7pm everyday, our routines would all drastically change and my financial situation would not improve at all whatsoever

But you’ll be paying taxes which you’ll get a return on and also means you’ll be paying into social security for retirement. You’ll have benefits. You’ll also have something to put on your resume and a job you can grow with....
