There seems to be some crazy line somewhere and there's so many different things saying different things. The 3 apps I have says 3rd trimester starts week 28. I go by lmp for months pregnant and the chart @prettyjazz98 posted is pretty accurate to me just so long as you remember that you are officially blank months pregnant at the end of the time frame listed not the beginning. Counting months out from lmp put me 6 months pregnant at 26 weeks. And July 28th I will be exactly 7 months from lmp and 30 weeks.

I was just at labor & delivery two days ago and they had a huge chart—- the third trimester was listed at 27 weeks. Nowhere on any of the charts did they list months. Everyone goes by weeks mainly, but I would say you are seven months.
@iuiblessing2018 my ob uses the same chart! So 7 months and 3rd trimester. That is the most up to date tracking but some still use the old school method which is why we see the variance. @jasmine.moore7509 you just use what is best for you, and aligned with your OB. :) In my view congrats on 3rd trimester!! 😍
@mommie2be26th read the above comments and you will see why there is confusion. Basically old school vs new school. When I first started training I learned 28 but by the time I finished it was changed to 27 (only a few years back now). So some still use the 28 when it has now been changed to 27. I just tell everyone to 1)first and foremost follow what your OB is saying to stay in track with them and 2) if your OB doesn't say just pick 1, it's a difference of a week it doesn't really matter. My OB actually uses the chart listed above so I do as well.
