Ve been having such a hard time with my baby actually latching on my nipple. & today a lactation consultant notify me that my baby might have tongue/ lip tie. Did any of you ladies go through this?
@xosanmel, your insurance should cover part of it. Mine covered a little over half. But the Dentist office will have you pay up front and then after they process your insurance they will send you a refund check.
@2sweetie, thank you so much for the info. One more question do you know if health insurance covers the procedure?
@xosanmel, no they get a numbing shot first. It’s very quick and they only cried for like a minute. I nursed immediately after and they were fine. You might notice some fussiness that same day but by the next day it’s better.
@eryka616, oh man thank god they gave me a heads up
Yes I was unable to breastfeed because it wasn’t found until she was older
Yes both my babies have had lip tie procedures. There’s a pediatric dentist in Redlands named Dr. Fuller and another one in San Bernadino named Dr. Jesse. Look them up and get a consultation ASAP. You’ll notice a big improvement in nursing.

Reasons why I should have my son taken away from me for neglect:

Am I wrong for telling my Bd that because we not Married my baby don't have to have his last name? He really got mad and told me I was project n ignorant. Crazy part is I was thinking about giving my baby his middle and last name
