Sounds good to me. My son roams freely (besides the bedrooms) and does what he wants because its baby proofed. BUT the other day I was making dinner and look in the living room for him and didn't see him. Go in the hallway nope not there so I figured his older sister took him, nope! He was in my room going through his drawers. Learned that day he can open doors because I always keep them closed Haha

My 2.5yr old and my almost 11 month old are constantly playing with each other in their toy room. My son is walking so he just follows his sister everywhere. I think it’s fine and they play so well together. Take his advice on board and check in more often but at the end of the day when they are on your watch, you do what your comfortable with.

Not at all!! My daughter will be 2 in September and we let her play in her room alone.

I just use the baby monitor🤷🏼‍♀️ my 4 year old loves to play in her room sometimes and I like to be able to keep an eye on her just in case

They have to learn to be able to be away from you sometimes.

I have a snug cam so I can watch my girl play in her room at any time! Best thing I've ever bought!

You don’t need you head up your kid’s asses to be a good mom. Yes you need your own time. If everything is child proofed and they are checked on I don’t see why you wouldn’t be able to leave them unattended at home. I do this with my son.
