🏻Breastfeeding Awareness Post🤱🏻
Today I’m going to post about the many benefits of breastfeeding in hopes that some of you will read along and be as amazed by these benefits as I am! I have attached infographics and will link a really cool article that lists some facts as well!
Here are some reasons that I personally choose to breastfeed.
•Skin to skin for a newborn is so incredibly important. Not only does it provide comfort for this brand new little baby that just entered this big and crazy world, but it also can help the mother-baby bond, help prevent ppd, regulate baby’s blood sugar and body temperature, help baby sleep and when breastfeeding...it helps encourage baby to nurse and produce more milk!
•Breastmilk provides many many nutrients and antibodies to baby. Your milk is actually tailored to your babies needs as they grow! It can help prevent illness from all those antibodies you are able to give to them. If your baby is lacking in iron or another key nutrient, a lot of times YOU can take enough of the supplement and the benefits will reach them through your milk.
•It’s the natural way that a child is meant to be fed! We make it, all of us women. There’s a reason for that! That reason is your little babe that you see or will soon see if you’re pregnant.
•It saves money! Though not a high priority on my list, it’s still an awesome benefit. Everyone loves to save some money.

I won’t babble on all day, I’ll let whomever wants to read the article and infographics read for themselves. But I just wanted to add a few things in there of why I personally chose to breastfeed my daughter.
If anyone has any questions or wants to learn more, ask about our breastfeeding group on here! @jaygirls, and @avahcruz can also add you or answer questions for you.
