I’m broken between breastfeeding and formula. My baby been crying non stop, sucking her fingers like she’s hungry but been on my breast like every hour for at least 20 to 30 minutes or wen ever she moves away plus it took 3 weeks to get her birth weight up. Don’t think she’s getting enough.

I feel like my baby gave in and went to sleep hungry. The worst feeling ever.

Don't ever let anybody make you feel like you're any less your decision is your decision whatever you decide you got to remember your sanity to and her get getting full is all that matters in the end it's your choice nobody else is it's a struggle breastfeeding it's hard work not only that some women just can't do it as easy as others and there's nothing wrong with accepting that

It's called cluster feeding. They do that when they're newborns to help establish your milk supply. As long as she's having 5-6 wet diapers in 24 hours then she's getting enough. 😊 Breastfeeding is hard work but it's worth it!

Baby’s cluster feed at this age they grow and develop in way you don’t even see so fast and with trying to establish your milk supply this is perfectly normal. If baby is having the proper number of diapers and is gaining things are working.

@gingiej1207, Thanks, this just brought tears n my eyes because I really want to breastfeed and I talked to the lady she said I have a good supply but I’m starting to think it not enough nutrients and fat to keep her full and add weight and I don’t wanna starve my child. I watch a video about a woman who had that going on etc..

Yes, see a lactation specialist! They will help you so much! They weighed baby before feeding, nursed on 1 side, weighed baby again so they know exactly how many ounces they got. Repeat for the other side! Good luck!! 💜

So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that

What would you do? - baby shower

What would you do? - baby shower SO my mom has been very negative about the baby my entire pregnancy. Especially in the beginning, she said the most HORRIBLE things about me, my DH and my unborn baby. Like that I was making a big mistake, that I was making her 2015 the worst year ever... etc etc. Even when she would do nice things she made me feel like I was a HUGE inconvenience and a burden to her. She told me to definitely NOT expect a shower or anything like that from her. Fine, whatever, I don't need her, I didn't have this baby for her to raise. I'm married, living on my own and paying all my own expenses.
