Any moms on here know about fish tanks and fish?

@paperplane, what else can I put in my tank I have Betta (male), pleco, and a Molly

@morganavery3, betta are kinda known for being aggressive to other fish so I'm not sure I don't buy them unless they are alone in the bowl. Sorry I can't be more help but at the fish store they can give you that info.

Bettas have to be alone in a tank or bowl. No other fish.

@sarah.s, actually they don’t. They can be with certain fish. These fish have been living together for a year all fine

Neon tetras apparently go ok with Bettas! I just googled it. I was thinking they might be alright cuz I think I've had that mix before years ago. Google confirmed it for me :)

@paperplane, I’ve heard of those but do you know how many I would need to have because aren’t they schooling fish?

@paperplane, I even went to the Atlanta pet store and they didn’t know anything either

@morganavery3, they are a schooling fish but they are tiny so they are easy to fit in a tank together. I'd recommend 4 minimum maybe. If you can get a couple more I have 14 and they look so cool together in our little tank

@paperplane, all I have is a ten gallon so will I have enough room?

@morganavery3, that sucks and dose not seem right. That should be a requirement to work there

@paperplane, yeah they were telling me my Betta and pleco couldn’t be together. But the Betta could be with bottom feeders like wtf a pleco is a bottom feeder

@morganavery3, oh yes you only have the 3 in there right now? You can put about 15 neons and still have some room. I'm thinking. Mine in baby's room is only a 5 gallon and I have 14 neons 3 Guppies 2 yellow fluorescent tetras and a algae eater and a red tail shark. It's considered full but they all do very well together cuz I have plenty or fake coral and real plants in it

I have to trim back the red plant. It only has growth at the bottom the top is not doing that great

You can do any fish that’s not aggressive pretty much

@morganavery3, it takes time or it cost to much money! You build up a collection of the things you like as you go along :)

@paperplane, I want some plants that aren’t fake but I need something that would be super easy to take care of. And I know even the rocks that you put in there for the fish to hide in is like 20 each lol

@morganavery3, in my area they go for 6-15$ most are pretty low maintenance and look so nice!

@paperplane, everything for fish here is super expensive I live in a small town tho

@morganavery3, there are some plants that are in a sealed package and hang on the shelf here so I'm betting you can order that type online. I was supprized to see them like that but they looked healthy and looked like they will grow well.

@morganavery3, I don't know what kinds they where. there where many choices. But they where all underwater plants. Sorry I'm not much help.

@morganavery3, I'll have to look next time I go to the store to see the brand. I did find a few companies that sell aqua plants. But look what I found! I learn something everyday. This was so cool...

They apparently play with them and you can even buy hoops they like to put them threw !
