@momof3qtpies, not sure I think it would check for murmurs and stuff but it maybe informational only I don’t think they could act on it if they found anything wrong but I am unsure

I was never offered that. Would it show a problem that would be important to know before birth?

@iwannaplay, my echo was originally ordered just because I’m pregnant with twins no red flags, so when the anatomy scan was donee the dr said I don’t have to do the echo anymore unless I want too but I think u guys are right rather be safe than sorry so I’ll go anyways

There was a reason the echo was ordered to begin with and while the anatomy scan is great an echo is focused on just the heart which gives a better view of whatever potential issue caused enough concern to want it done.

@raquely, was this after your anatomy scan?

@cams, my ob said it’s up to me that they look fine on the anatomy scan

You should do whatever your OB advises.
