@jesuslover82, while everything was fine with your child, the longer a baby can cook the better it is for them. Thank god everything was fine with your daughter.

Yeah 37 weeks is ok. Not ideal. But 35 is too early. They have a good survival rate but need to cook a little more. If they can’t stop it I will be transferred to a bigger hospital an hour away because ours doesn’t deliver this early. Fingers crossed they can get these contractions stopped.

Good luck hope they can get the contractions to stop have they checked ur cervix to see if the contractions are doing anything

@tosha6, yeah they did on admission. It was posterior and not dilated. I have gotten a whole bag a fluids and am on my second. They are seeing if that helps and in a half an hour checking to see if I have dilated since they last checked which was admission. I’m still having contractions but they are spacing out a little bit.

@tosha6, unfortunately I’m still here. They started with fluids that didn’t help. So they did medication and I have still been having contractions. They slowed a little but are still consistent. So I got the first round of meds to develop his lungs in case. And have to get the other tomorrow. During all this o have went from being closed to dilating to 1cm. And they are rechecking me at noon and doing an ultrasound. Depending on how that goes I will either be going home or being transferred an hour away to a bigger hospital.

Oh and I thinned out at Well.

@tosha6, yes. I just got released. I’m 35 weeks tomorrow. So they can deliver him if I go anytime after tonight. No ideal though. I am still having contractions they are sporadic though. He is head down. Still at 1cm and slightly thinned out. I get to go in tomorrow morning at 6 am to get the second steroid shot to help his lungs develop and to get monitored. I’m just happy to get to go home for a little bit. Lol I am definitely packing my hospital bag today.
