Some women get so big while pregnant and I’m just like “Sis how are you standing?” 😭
@chasinghappiness, yeah! i had a girl and she was 7lbs 11oz.
This time around im having another girl but I guess since I lost a lot of weight after my last pregnancyI started at a better weight and i am 10lbs lighter. It helps...or at least it has made this pregnancy a little easier.
I am 5'3" tall.
With my first : started at 131lbs. Ended at 172lbs.
With this one: Started at 124lbs. I am 159lbs and I have a week left so im guessing ill stay around this weight.
I have eaten normal and done everything like i used to but with my first i ate too much and pretty unhealthy so 🤷♀️. It has def made a dif on my bump though, and also im carrying lower this time which has helped to be more comfortable in regards of heartburn and shortness of breath
@josefa, and how much did your baby weigh at birth? Do you know what you’re having now?
with my first I gained over 40lbs and it definetly made my belly bigger. Towards the end not only my back was killing me if i stood for long but also I would feel like all the preassure from the legs carrying all that weight made everything hard. At that point moving was hard ( and honestly im a small framed person and never been even chubby in my life so it was a lot of extra weight). This pregnancy however has been different and I can tell that because my belly is a little bit smaller and i havent put on that much weight its def easier to walk around. Still stay home these days because I can't deal with the hot weather though
@chasinghappiness, right! Everyone carries differently. Thank you so much🤗 so are you!
@amw322, i think every single mom is a Warrior we’re making humans! That’s hard work. I’m never insensitive towards things like that. You’re beautiful btw.
There’s nothing insensitive or inappropriate about that🤦🏽♀️ having a baby bump is hard period and the bigger ones you feel for. I feel you on that bc I’m not big at all and couldn’t imagine being bigger which I know I will be bc I have 13 more weeks and my back pain is already making it really hard to walk. I actually didn’t even leave my room today besides to potty😭
@hollieletcher01, thank you! You have a beautiful bump! What are you having?
Girl don’t feel like you have to explain yourself to anyone! There is ALWAYS going to be someone who takes offense to anything you say on here. Sad but true. I know I’m 36 weeks and yes ma’am it hurts to even get out of bed and walk to the bathroom cause my big ole belly! Lol
@pumpernickel, yes this is all I meant. 😁 I love them big ole bellies
@rina414, but I was talking about just the belly. Did I really need to write a paragraph so you can know exactly what I meant? I told you what I meant can’t you just accept that. And anyone else that thought I was being rude can read these comments. As a pregnant woman you get big. Nothing to be ashamed of.
I had a 9lb baby and was humongous. My husband put a stool in the shower for me towards the end of my pregnancy because standing for long periods was excruciating
@chasinghappiness, That’s different than saying “You got so big. How are you standing?” and would be the appropriate way to ask someone how they’re doing/feeling. I’m not being hormonal. I’m pointing out that the way you phrased that is insensitive and could be taken the wrong way.
@rina414, actually I would except it would be me asking how she’s feeling, “is your belly weighing on your back or hips?” “Would you like to sit?” Im a mom I know how it feels. Now I get that people take things differently. I’m not insinuating that a woman is fat that’s ridiculous. I’m simply saying growing a baby is hard take a rest.
@chasinghappiness, I think the way you phrased that is a bit insensitive. You wouldn’t actually ask/say that to someone in real life would you? People have said similar things to me and it never makes me feel good.
@rina414, noooo. I’m not making fun of anyone. My point was that some woman have big bellies (no specific body type, big or small) and it looks painful to stand with a big belly.
Are you making fun of women that gain a lot of weight during pregnancy?
Both my babies were small 5 pounds and 6 pounds and I gained like 75 pounds during both pregnancies lol
@tyrellp, I need to try to stay active this time around. Maybe I’ll heal faster
@haslberry, I’m scared I’m having another boy 😣 lol
@chasinghappiness, Nope - another girl. Could have fooled me though because my symptoms were completely different.
I got used to it, i walked to and from work 5 days a week and i was on my feet majority of the day until i was 37 weeks. I was 140 before i got pregnant and 215 when i delivered lol i was sore towards the end but for the most part i was ok i stayed active.
@haslberry, are you having a boy this time?
I'm stretching pretty quick this time too. Still much smaller than the end of last time, but it gets uncomfortable when my skin can't keep up. I haven't gotten any new stretch marks either. I just feel the strain lol.
My daughter was 6 lbs. 12 oz.
@haslberry, my second pregnancy I felt sooooo big but everyone looked at me lol 😑 “you’re tiny hush” I wonder how big I’ll get this time around.
@tyrellp, oh no of course it’s beautiful don’t get me wrong. The bigger the better. But isn’t it painful?
I'm all belly while pregnant. I saw pictures of myself at the end of my first pregnancy, and it looked like I was going to rip open alien-style (but through my belly, of course).
Omg I did. At 7 months people in Wal Mart were asking me if I was okay and if I was having twins. I was so round! But she was a 9lb baby anyway ha.
I got a huge belly when i was pregnant, a baby bump is beautiful big or small in my opinion.
