Who else is a stay at home mom? 💗

I’ve been a stay at home mom for almost 6 yrs and I absolutely love it ! Some days are great and others are hectic, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. I am beyond blessed to be able to stay home and raise my children and spend time with them.

@cmjohnson3047, That’s how it is for me as well. I don’t trust daycares or schools & etc. especially now a days. As boring as it may get sometimes, sometimes I don’t know what we could even do to make time go by, I rather stay home with my son & enjoy him!

@momsrmagical, That’s exactly how our library is too. An entire room set aside from the other part of the library just for the kids to go play & storytime & where all the kids events are held. Even when there’s no storytime or event, kids can still go by & play with the toys & things they have there.

@mommysince2014. I live staying home with my kids. I do get cabin fever sometimes but other then that it beats working cuz i dont trust daycares

@mommysince2014 awe, that's good. I love our local library!!! There's an entire room dedicated to Storytime and there's an entire section in library just for the kids where there's toys and arts and crafts

@coffeeislife, I have a friend who has 2 little ones, her son is around my sons age & they both love playing together. So we try to meet up at the library or her house. When we get together for the play dates it’s always a nice time. But I am definitely going to google for a indoor play because we can take the kids there or I can take my son. I hope I find something like that.

@mommysince2014 a friend of mine told me about it when she invited us. Definitely Google it. If you can't find anything when you put an indoor Playland just Google things to do with your kids in or around your area. I either find these things on my myself or I'm told by other people. We have a blast when we have play dates. My friend and I alternate between each other's homes for playdates or will take the girls out somewhere.

@coffeeislife, That’s so awesome!! How did you know of that cafe with a indoor play area? I wonder if you can just google what places have indoor play areas. It sucks we only have McDonald’s with a indoor play. I wanna see if we also have places like that cafe with indoor play. That’s soo sweet! 💗 I’m sure you guys really enjoy yourself when you guys have play dates 🤗

@mandynicole883, I’m completely there with you. Cook, clean, care for my son, cook clean & care for my son. Everyday is the same but it’s a lot better when you can be a stay at home mama. We never trusted daycares with our son. Especially now even schools aren’t safe 😔

@tacos4lyfe, Awww it definitely isn’t easy at all!! Im glad he finally understands. You can’t fit it all in in one day, we need more hours in the day to be the perfect housewife & mom lol. I’m gonna have to read that article.

@mommysince2014 yeah, we have a lot of fun. All the indoor play places are Burger King McDonald's Chick-fil-A and Dairy Queen. There's also a little cafe with an indoor play place about 20 minutes from where I live. I try to make sure we get out and do fun things. It's a lot better than being stuck inside all day. We just had a playdate with a friend of mine who has a little girl that's only 4 months younger than my DD. So they've known each other since they were born

@josefa, That’s awesome you get to work from home sometimes 🤗 I have 1 friend who has kids & we get together sometimes so the kids can play & we can catch up, that’s always nice.

@coffeeislife, Your lucky all the fast food places near you have playgrounds. We only have McDonald here that has a indoor playground. All the other fast food places took theirs down. So I do take my son the McDonald’s one with a friend of ours who also has little ones. We was doing lunch at the park but it got too hot for that. You guys do a lot of great activities 🤗🤗

@mommysince2014 yes sometimes i feel bored. And i feel the lack of adult communication. Every day its the same thing. Cook, clean, take care of my son. But id much rather take care of him than a daycare. Im not trusting when it comes to letting my son outta my sight. Especially with all the abuse/ sex offences happening at day cares. Some days i wish i wasnt a stay at home mom but more days than others i love it.

Me for now I like it I never done that before and it feel nice to be with my kids i dont wanna work again

@mommysince2014, since DD1 was was born so just under a year and a half. I love it but I don’t think I am by far a good “housewife” which my husband expected lol. I focus more on my daughter than having a clean house and dinner ready every day. Hubby started criticizing me a lot and how the house is always a mess and so I sent him this article that talks about why it’s hard to be both a good stay at home mom AND and good housewife in today’s world lol. He read it and says “so I read that article you sent me. I agree with it for the most part...” I said “so is that your way of apologizing for being a dick?” He says “maybe I was a little harsh...” lol here is the article though ladies: ссылка

@mommysince2014, I love it !!! but it is definitely not easy. Many days it gets lonely but as the babies grow up i know it will get better. I love being able to be with my baby and now this next one and teach her everything and laugh, play with her, take her places, eat together cuddle on rainy days...also I work from home sometimes for my uncle's company so it doesn't get too boring. I try to have a routine too because it keeps me sane and keeps us entertained. Also get some mommy friends and playdates 😊 that helps

I been a Stay at home mom for 7 months now and its the best !

@mommysince2014 we go to the park, we go to this little place thats is like a little coffee shop with a large playground indoors, we go to BK, we will go to our local farm and do some fruit picking, we go places with a friend of ours and her little girl who's the same age, if we stay home we'll play outside, play in the pool, do scavenger hunts, we'll do arts and crafts, play board games or sometimes we stay in and build a fort make snacks and watch movies. All of the fast food restaurants in my town have indoor playlands.

@mommysince2014, I want to work I’m just sad knowing this part of my life is over. I’ll have a child starting college and another kindergarten. It was nice keeping a close eye on my teenagers and being home with my youngest. I need to make myself better by doing something( work) for myself now.

@michellemybell09, The story times we go to, other moms take newborns & little infants & it’s not loud for them. & I know a couple of the library’s here offer baby story time so it’s suitable for little babies. You should look into your local library & see what they offer 😊

I have been a sham since my youngest was born in 2013. He starts full day kindergarten next month. I’ll be going back to work then. It’s kinda bittersweet. I’m scared,nervous, sad and excited all at the same time😭

@michellemybell09, Awww that’s so fun 😊 We like to go to the park on the cooler days too. I’ll pack us a lunch & we’ll go have lunch at the park & I let my son play after he eats. We go to the library a lot. We like going to their storytimes & little kid events they have. My son also likes to color, or we’ll play games. Play in water.

@lovelily, Awwww!!! You sound like a fun mama 😊💗 Those are all great activities. What kind of crafts do you guys like to make? I’m sure the birdhouses came out so cute 😊 We will craft sometimes. We like to go to the library a lot for their story time & other little kid events they’ll have. My son is 4 years old so he also can entertain himself pretty well with his toys & etc.

@mommysince2014 I took up gardening and photography as hobbies for myself, when it comes to the kids I'm always planning fun activities, crafts, baking, movies just all kinds of fun stuff to keep them active and happy.

@mommysince2014 We craft like crazy. Construction paper and crayons and glue can go a long way. We painted birdhouses yesterday. My oldest ones are pretty self sufficient so they do entertain themselves most of the time. They have bikes and neighborhood friends. With Lily, my youngest, we are learning words with picture books, color pictures (or try to) and she has a doll house and other interactive toys to keep herself occupied. I have a kiddie pool and slip n slide for them outside. We take trips to the zoo, the parks, the splash pads. They also had summer camp for 2 weeks last month which helps me out, ha.

Now that it's summer Kiddie pools, sprinklers, walks and lots of visits to her grandparents ☺️
