@oooshefit, I think it’s just my anxiety. I know This would be a great opportunity for me and I don’t have a lot of support at home. So I think I was just over thinking it.

Don’t psych or let anyone psych you out. Work places aren’t supposed to discriminate and you ARE early in enough to drop a “I’m pregnant !!” At 14 weeks or something. There is a reason why jobs give MATERNITY LEAVE!!! Whether it’s paid or not...it’s offered. Also, it’s illegal for a job to fire you over prenatal visits for your unborn child. As long as you’re giving the appropriate scheduled days off for you appointments , you should be fine. Most jobs require a 2 week time request and I’m certain your OB will schedule you out far enough to get those days off. Again, this is a medical need. Really start educating yourself on laws where you’re from concerning employment.

Also, working gives you enough one to see whether it is something you can do. Working while pregnant isn’t for everyone 🤷🏻‍♀️

Don’t let anyone tell you places WONT hire you because you’re pregnant, I’ve been employed and offered jobs at 14weeks and up.

Like come on. Stop weighing out your cons before you can even see the pros.

@sarab.estrada well then i think you should go for it. At the beginning of this pregnancy i was offered a job that i really wanted but i denyed it because of that reason. Then thought about after i had the baby and all that but now i regret it because i could be alot better off . Why not just go for it they should understand your situation new or not. If anything you can always reapply

@sarab.estrada, honestly I would just see what it’s like, if it doesn’t work out at least you know you tried ❤️ what I did was I just schedule all of my doctors appointments ahead of time and requested those days off of work, but then again my job was pretty lenient. Good luck hun!

@albertrettazariah1386, yeah it more about it being a new job and have to ask for days of.

@sophiesmom, yeah I work up until the day I had my son last year and went back when he was 1 week old because we needed the money but got laid off in December I don’t mind working and being pregnant I was just worried about having to take off for my doctors appointments and if they would mind.

@laniejay, I meant because it’s a full time job and I will be having my doctors appointments I wasn’t sure how they would feel about that me being new and all and maybe that a part time would be better.. and I didn’t say my husband won’t work I said that I don’t consider it a real job. The reason I say that is because how much he gets paid is up to him on how much he is willing to do so it can vary for $100 to 600 or 700 a week and I don’t like the uncertainty of that. So again I am going to get a job I just have be dealing with anxiety and ppd so I was getting nervous about the full time part of the job. I hope I made sense.

Do you think youd be able to do the job later into the pregnancy?

I’m a sahm now but before I had my daughter I worked full time and continued while I was pregnant up until I was 35 weeks. It wasn’t bad at all but I started getting really tired once I hit 32 weeks but still kept pushing through it. You have to do what’s best for your family.

You should go and i hope you get it:) i was 28 weeks when i got job and i didnt want to but at time we have to do what's best for our kids to put a plate on the table!! Good luck❤
