@brittanymhestehave my whole dads side has diabetes but not my moms side but my mom got diabetes with all 4 of her pregnancies and then it went away so I'm hoping it'll be like that with this pregnancy and it goes away

@mother.of.2, ya my brother is 18 with sugar diabetes

@mother.of.2, ok i do notice i get weak now and if i eat a candy bar or some dessert i feel better.

@brittanymhestehave I so wish and pray that you do pass it though because it's just horrible having to go through all this, pricking your finger 4x a day and pills and or insulin, just not good at all.

@brittanymhestehave I don't either personally because this is the first time that I've had to do all this checking sugar and whatnot but I think what it is is that your body can't process sugar so well and it doesn't release the insulin to help I guess dissolve the sugar or to throw it away properly🤷🤷lol

im knew to all this so i am not sure how you get the gestational diabetes

@mother.of.2, well i just want junk food all the time and desserts but i need to becareful because they will test me soon for the gest diabeitis

@brittanymhestehave thank you and I hope the best for you, I passed with my first pregnancy, but I think it's because I craved salty and now once I hit 3rd trimester with this pregnancy I wanted sugar so it kinda messed with everything a bit. What do you crave?

@mother.of.2, thats good hes doing better.On aug 6 i go for my diabetes check ill be 26 weeks

@brittanymhestehave it's okay I'm just high risk now because this pregnancy my son only has one vein and one artery and you're supposed to have two veins and one artery in the umbilical cord so we had to run all these tests and whatnot but on top of that I just got diagnosed with gestational diabetes so we have to make sure that the baby is not going to be too big so I go every week now to check on him and his weight but so far so good I only have a little bit longer to go and he's doing better than what anybody thought he would be doing so I'm super happy, beyond grateful and blessed🙌🙌🙌💕

@brittanymhestehave I honestly do not know only because I have Medicaid and I've only had to get them because I went to a specialist because I was high risk for both of my pregnancies.

@mother.of.2, where do you get those done is it expensive?I dont think kaiser permanente does 3d i will have to ask
