I know my child has behavioral issues and I don’t want them to just be brushed off. I’m aware that somethings are just apart of development but it’s to the point where I’m so stressed out everyday because of him. He deliberately is bad. He’s already almost 3, the terrible two phase is over. I spend every single day and night with him, I know him better than anyone else. He has a behavior issue and it’s driving me to a breaking point. His behavior affects the entire family negatively. I’ve tried the one on one time. I’ve done everything the internet or other moms can suggest. He needs professional guidance.

I understand completely what you are going through. My oldest son is almost 4. He has behavioral issues. It is so hard. I have to skip out on alot of activities that my family does and his cousins do bc of avoiding a behavioral meltdown around everyone. I didn't take my son to a restaurant for all of 2 and most of 3 because I didn't want to disturb people. I love my baby so much he is just extremely string willed. People don't get it either they say "spank him, put him in time out" yeah that would work if his brain was functioning like a normal 3 yr old but it's not so I use ALOT of distraction. Discipline doesn't work only escalates. I have to stay on top of him and constantly make sure he is checked to know what we are supposed to be doing. It will get better. He is getting easier with time. He is still a handful but I am understanding how to deal with him more and more every day. I can't raise my son like everyone else raises their kids or expects me to raise my kid. He is different and now that I know and accept that it's getting better. ❤️ Just know your not alone.

Have you tried peaceful parenting? My son had horrendous behavioral issues when he was younger. It took about a year of peaceful parenting for his behavior to do a complete turn around. He's 11 years old now and you'd never know he had so many issues as a young child.

Absolutely agree. My sister is in the same boat with her 5 year old. She is now in professional counseling with her and she is getting evaluated for behavior issues. Sometimes you just HAVE TO TRY SOMETHING ELSE. Especially before school age! Good for you mama. It's time to reach out for help. Not just for your son, but yourself as well. You'll need some coaching on how to help with his issues, too. A team effort!

@majorreign, that sounds exactly like us. I relate fully. I feel sad about it sometimes but I hope it gets easier.

@yayacarrington, I’ve tried everything. I am trying peaceful parenting now. I have been . He doesn’t care at all. It’s not about my parenting, honestly,, even if he had a different mother completely, he acts the same way.
