Feeling proud of myself and my son. I have finally put my foot down and taken away his bottle. I know I should’ve way sooner but I didn’t, and I don’t need any lectures about why you should take it away at 12 months because I already know. Yesterday I just decided as soon as we woke up that there were gonna be no more babas. My son cried for 2 hours straight because I had refused, and then would again cry every time I said no later that day. After a rough couple hours of trying to get to bed without a bottle, he finally fell asleep and only woke up 1 time for a bottle. Usually I’m waking up 3 times a night for a baba. I told him no and he cried some more but fell back asleep. He’s been asking for it here and then today but accepting that he’s not going to get it. He’s been eating SO great too. I usually don’t get him to eat hardly anything but some snacks. Today he’s been eating all day pretty much. I’m really hoping this means he’s gonna put some weight. 😊

This is great!!! Just keep pushing forward!! Once I took the bottles away from my son at 13-14 months he finally started sleeping threw the night! On bottles he was still waking up 3 times a night and being pregnant again it’s very hard it’s great you finally did it before new baby comes. Yes two years old is definitely pushing it for bottles but you did it and that’s what matters!! 😊

@reinabella_xoxo, it can cause a lot of teeth problems. It can cause them to have bucked teeth, baby bottle tooth decay and some other things too I think. I think there’s other ones too but that’s the main reason I’ve heard

Gotcha.... that’s good to know. My oldest was stuck in his bottle durning night time and caused a lot of ear infection due to laying back. Makes a lot of sense. Good luck !

😬 I need to take my daughters bottle away. I know all the reasons to but holy man is it rough. Maybe on her half birthday next week we will get rid of it.
