@underthesea14, yes we own them. Yes we always wear proper equipment. Not sure how that is relevant (buying or renting or even riding) and quite a deflection from the obvious danger of OPs situation.
@nycolekatie, 10mph is pretty damn fast for no shoes, improper clothing and no helmet ... not to mention driven by another child.
And there was 4 Adults Present. Yeah she may not have been dresssd properly. But she’s my kid and if I felt that she was in danger I wouldn’t have put her on it.
@sarah.s, yes he drive very slow and the quad doesn’t go more than 10 mph
@underthesea14, no I’m judging based on what is seen and the caption. Not speculation or the circumstances.
And yes, my family is avid outdoors and trust that my kids (and adults) are ALWAYS using proper precautions.
@underthesea14, then you shouldn’t generalize and play captain. There are so many posts of parents putting their kids in ridiculously dangerous situations, it’s sickening. Some who say: no negative comments I don’t care.
Clearly OP found nothing wrong with this situation. Let her be a big girl and face the comments of concerned parents.
@underthesea14, you clearly aren’t on here enough because there have been many many posts with pics of parents putting their children in danger.
It's not cause there is 2 people. It's the age. Law or not it's extra dangerous for those ages. Hopefully the boy drove extra slow.
@underthesea14, clearly, because nothing in this pic endangers a child. Sure as shit I will judge any mom who puts their child in danger. Parenting differences is one thing. Intentionally endangering a child is another. Funny how you’re throwing shade about my parenting and my kids—- yet make excuses for someone who could get their kid killed or seriously injured in a situation that’s completely preventable. People like you are the reason kids stay in unhealthy situations. I’ll advocate for a child’s safety and well being all day every day regardless of how that puts you or anyone else in their feels.
