Maybe u need more iron what I was first taking wasn’t enough then my Dr upped it and I was so much better.

I’m scared because I’m getting closer to my due date. They told me they sometimes have to give their anemic patients a blood transfusion. I’m trying to avoid that! 😱

I really hope you feel better. Being low in iron makes you feel like sh*t! I know how crappy I’ve felt the last couple weeks. It’ll only get worse after the baby if you don’t get your iron up because of the postpartum bleeding. It’s so important to get your levels normal. Good luck. ❤️

I have the exact same issue. Have headaches and feel lethargic most of the time. I was told I was borderline anemic.

What kind of iron are you taking? My iron pills were making me feel worse so they switched me to a plant-based iron that I absorb better. It’s called Hemaplex. They also had me increase my dose from one pill to three pills a day! Also, drink tons of water and fluids with electrolytes (Gatorade and chicken broth is what my midwife suggested.)

@boymom_, I was sleeping for like 12 hrs each night and I was getting dehydrated bc of it so it’s annoying rn lmao

Sleep if U can, drink tons of water first.. I had quite a few long lasting headaches like this and this is what worked for me

@expectinggreatness, they checked it the other day when I was in the hospital and they said it was fine

@mrschanandlerbong95, they said I’m anemic so they gave me iron pills and vitamin C but those haven’t helped at all.

Have you checked your blood pressure to make sure it’s not high ? If not , check it just to be safe . I hope it goes away soon

Have you spoken to your doctor about this headache? Or have you had your blood pressure checked?
