@nikki90xx @boymom_ yeah some people would rather have someone who is cercumsized. They are uglier but it doesnt bother me at all with my boyfriend cause he isnt circumcised I think it depends on the person.

Personally I didn't get my son circumcised. Not because I was or wasn't against it, I just want him to have that choice once he's old enough. Yup, I'm that mom 🤷🏽‍♀️

@briannejd2012, yeah .. just easier .. not that this matters but I don’t need my kids mad at me for it being ugly when they’re older either lol I always thought it was so stupid that “un circ.” Guys we’re made fun of around here, personally I think there ugly too BUT I’m sure they’re not here to be pretty 🤷🏼‍♀️ lol has that ever been a thing in your area? I completely agree with @raqueliiosiis, my Oh isn’t circumcised and has never had any infections etc it’s a case of teaching them how to clean it properly. My oh has brought this conversation up many of times and has asked for my opinion and I’ve always said it isn’t going to be my penis to make the decision on and if our boy wants to have it done later on in life then that will be his choice but for me unless it’s for medical reasons I don’t think it’s necessary to have done x

@boymom_ yeah I know some people who had to do it later in life and they said it sucks. I'm leaning more towards doing it

Circumcised my three boys, better then coming across some infection when there older and having to circumcise then.. and dad wanted to for the same reason as well. Just never now how the future goes so I did my boys, rather be safe then sorry and then hate me later if something happened 👍🏼 excruciating pain, I seen my 7yr old nephew have to get circumcised before I had kids so just trying to keep my boys from that .. YIKES ! good luck !

@amberjacq thank you I wont just wanted some options! Never had to deal with boys so it's all new to me lol but I'll talk with my doctor on my next appointment 😊😊

My son is circumcised my bf and I both agreed on it. I did it because I never wanted to worry if he was cleaning himself good enough once he gets to old for me to bathe him. If you don’t do it you just have to teach him around 4-6 how to clean himself really good and maybe have dad help him or something. Just remember that if you do get it done for him he will be in NO pain. Ask around at your hospital/pediatricians office/obgyn office and ask if they do them and how they are done. He will be very numb though and “should” sleep the whole time. My son slept the WHOLE time and he was 3 weeks old he only cried because he was surrounded by strangers and I wasn’t allowed back with him(because my Ob had someone faint on her years and years ago) whenever my dr touched the paper that was on him he would scream and when my nurse brought me back to see him after he was snoozing away and they were giggling because he would cry for no reason lol

@briannejd2012, I think either way your boy would be fine as long as you keep the area cleaned and keep Vaseline on that area, the men in my husbands family have never had any issues besides skin getting stuck but it’s never been a big deal because it’s only happen to my brother inlaw and my son and it was fixed by gently pulling the skin apart and applying Vaseline, I’m glad some of the men in my husbands family are/aren’t circumcised because I got advice/opinions from both sides and it helped further my decision to get my son circumcised because my husband from the beginning was all for it but I wasn’t sure about it but I’m so glad me and my husband got him done but even if we didn’t have him circumcised I think our son would of been fine because he doesn’t have a lot of his skin cut off because his skin still goes over the top of his private which is why it got stuck that time but it hasn’t been a problem since I started applying Vaseline, my advice would be don’t stress too much about it because I’m sure what you decide is gonna be what’s best for your boy so don’t worry too much about it 🙂

@briannejd2012, we do too I’m due in the beginning of November but this was something that we decided within the first week of knowing we where having a boy (we found out at 13 weeks)

My husband is making this decision but I believe that it’s not my penis and it’s not my decision to make. My husband is 34 and is not circumcised, never had an issue with infections, he never had any issues with the skin getting stuck. I believe if you teach a child proper hygiene and you do your due diligence then your child shouldn’t have problems. I mean the skin is there for a reason.

My son is 9 and not circumcised. Never had an infection or such... just got to teach them how to properly keep it clean.

Also have 7brothers that never were either and they are all fine.

I let my boyfriend make the decision on circumcising our son.

My son is circumcised and my husband is circumcised, and my father inlaw isn’t circumcised and my father inlaw said that my son would of been okay if we didn’t have him done but he was afraid that his skin would get stuck together like my brother in laws did when he was a little boy and my father inlaw had to pull his skin back to get it unstuck and my husband was also afraid of this happening to our son so we got him done but I don’t think they cut enough skin off our son because his still gets stuck from time to time so I put Vaseline on his private to keep it from getting stuck, I don’t wanna go back and have him get more cut off so I just keep applying Vaseline to him and move the skin around to keep it from getting stuck together

Yeah he isnt cercumsized but his mom has 7 boys and she cercumsized her first boys but not the rest.. he is fine I see nothing wrong with it I just hurd it's easier for boys to get infections and stuff as a kid you just have to make sure your cleaning correct and stuff. We talked about it but he doesnt realy give me an answer just that we will discuss it with the doctor for more of the pros and cons I guess.

I did my research on it just so I would know but I let my husband decide.

In my honest opinion I'd leave this decision up to your husband. As they know themselves what is best for your little boy. I left it up to my partner.
