My daughter is 18 months and still not really talking. She says "mama" when she is upset and wants me. She also will randomly say "milk" and "dada" but if you point to something (me, my husband, the dogs, ECT) she will not even try to say what it is. She doesn't try to repeat us either. She does babble all the time though. I know she should be saying more words by now but should I be worried and looking into some extra help or just wait a few months? (She has been slow to reach most milestones but not this late)
My nephew is 18months and is exactly the same. I wouldn't worry just yet
My daughter only recently started repeating and talking more. To me, it can be normal but I know a lot of people now tend to intervene early on.
I wouldn’t worry my son only said few words until after he was 2 then he started talking in small sentences.
My son took forever to talk. He’s 3 and now won’t shut up lol. I think it’s normal. Although, if you’re concerned you can always bring it up to her pedi and see.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
My son didn’t talk until he was around three, but still didn’t talk a lot. He is now four and a couple of weeks ago he’s started talking a LOT and does not stop 😂. He does have a few speech issues and goes to a speech therapist. Doctor was never worried because he always understood what we said to him, he just wasn’t ready to talk.
