What idiot told you that? 🤦 A 19lb 7 month old is not overweight. She would be around the 84th percentile which is good.

My son just turned 8 months and he’s probably around 23 lbs. 🤷🏽‍♀️ Seriously what is wrong with other mothers judging?? We are just trying our best and doing everything with love. Your baby is healthy. Any baby with a few or a lot of pudge is happy and healthy.

@leahkay, thank you! I’ve been told this by people in Walmart. And most of the time it’s the ones with REALLY tiny babies. And I’m like just because you’re baby looks like they’re starving doesn’t mean mine needs to look like that. My baby girl LOVES to eat.

My daughter was 21 pounds at her 6 month check up and is perfectly healthy. You need to tell whoever told you that to shut up and mind her own business.

I feel like you shouldn’t be judging a baby by their weight until a certain age ? Like obvious your 6 month old shouldn’t be like 50 lbs but you know what I mean ? Like what are you gonna do, tell your 7 month old they can’t eat right now ? No. Like that’s not how things work sorry. Lol

Like my 3 month old is 14 pounds so and was 7 at birth so I’d assume he’d be around that at 7 months ???

@tasticmel, I just walked off. And it’s sad cause my mom works at Walmart and she tell customers about my baby and they be like I’m feeding her too much and blah blah blah. She eats 3 cups of baby food and drinks 3 bottles a day. And she might have a few snacks in between.

@oceanbabe424, lol exactly. Her doctor didn’t seem concerned so I’m not either. I told the lady she wasn’t crawling and she had the nerve to say it might be because she’s over weight. I literally wanted to drag her in the store.

@briannalynn547, that’s how big my daughter was at that age. She had a nurse coming to the house once a week and she never said anything was wrong with her weight either.

@mommyof_2woprincesses, you can’t though. Like you can’t deny them food ? They’ll literally loose their minds 😂 my mother in law tries to do that. Like my son has really bad reflux and she’s like stop feeding him so often that’s why he’s throwing up, when he cries just put him to sleep. Like no? I’ll feed him if he’s hungry. He tells me when he’s full. He eats every 2.5 hours go away

@briannalynn547, lol exactly. My daughter was drinking 8 oz at maybe 4 months and they were telling me that’s too much. My daughter has a big appetite. I told someone before that maybe that’s why she started sleeping all night at 2 months. I gave her the amount of milk she wanted. Not the amount I think she needs 😒😒

@mommyof_2woprincesses, my daughter has been off the charts for her weight since she was a month old and was only breastfed up until a couple weeks before she turned 6 months when we introduce baby food. Her doctor has been happy with her weight and called her a little chunk at her 2 month appointment saying chunky babies are the cutest lol. Babies eat a lot! As long as your not feeding them sugar and pop then let them eat as much as they need to. Their rapidly growing and as soon as they start crawling and walking they will slim up fast.

My son was around 20lbs at that age. He went up to 23lbs at 9-10months and then started crawling and walking has dropped some lbs off again. People should really just mind their own business!!

@tasticmel, you’re right. My baby is chunky. I mean bathing her takes more time because of her rolls but it’s adorable and I think she knows it 😂

@thebestleah, they really should. My niece was a chunky baby and now she’s 3 and isn’t chunky anymore. She’s just solid.

@mommyof_2woprincesses, exactly ! My son was sleeping through the night at 1 month old . We just upped him to 7 ounces . The key for me though is I still swaddle lol if I dont swaddle him one night he’ll jump and wake himself up lol

@mommyof_2woprincesses, people forget that babies double their weight and length in the first year. Everything is developing and growing, they need some extra resources on them. My son is long and has never looked chunky but I had people tell me oh he’ll slim down once he’s mobile. Wtf he’s a baby, leave him alone!

Girl I have had to block a lot of bitches like that on here lately. There's one of them who just tried to troll on my pictures. People's always worried about what I feed my baby, and all this other bullshit. Oh she should be buckled this way oh this oh that. They get on my nerves. So I just keep moving. This post is the best fucking post I have ever seen in my life

😂 overweight?? Seriously?? 🤦🏼‍♀️ My daughter was 19lbs before 5 months old. Lol by the time she was 1 she was 27 pounds! Lol she’s 18 months now and 28 lbs 😬 she started walking and keeps getting taller and skinnier.

Babies can’t really be overweight.. they won’t overeat on formula or breast milk for sure. And they eat when they are hungry and stop when they are full when they start solids 🤷🏼‍♀️

A mother trying to share the proper way for you to buckle your babe isn’t something that anyone should ever feel judged by. They are just trying to help because in that instance there is only ONE right way. But if your looking for someone who does have the certification to say that, I’m a Certified Child Passenger Safety Tech 😬

@coffeemomm, I’ve had one like that too. The car wasn’t moving and the top was just buckled. We had just got to the store so we undid it half way before we took the picture. And then someone started commenting on the seat belt like I didn’t know it was unbuckled 😒😒

@tegandavis16, I don’t think they can be overweight either. And in my case they was asking why wasn’t she buckled? And what kind of mother doesn’t buckle their child all way? You know stuff like that. I mean if they would’ve just asked I would’ve explained it to them nicely. But when you start a sentence off with “what kind of mother” you’ve crossed the line lol
