Did my very own lash extensions. 😳 Technically my first time doing it. Aside from buying the gel (which is good for many applications), it’s much cheaper doing it this way than going to a professional. :p Also nicer than falsies, because these will last about 4 weeks.
(Don’t mind my brows — they’re kind of a hot mess.)
@chasha2017, Haha my sister said the same thing! I’d be afraid of poking someone’s eye out!! 😂😂
@sagwaenglish, @dontspankme, @spicydisaster, Thanks lovelies! 💕❤️😍
@momofboth, Thank you! 💕 & I totally understand haha. There’s things I’d never do myself either, like waxing! May as well pay a professional for some stuff. :) If you don’t mind paying it, then definitely treat yourself!!
I would definitely mess this up I can't put on any lashes . I'm just going to pay that money unfortunately lol . You did a great job tho . They look real nice
@mediocreleah, I know nothing about any of those things just thought yours looks nice LOL
@inkedsouthernbelle, The glue is separate, but some YouTube girls did buy a whole set that included the glue as well as the glue remover but idk it seemed cheap. I got this glue: ссылка
It DOES sting, but my eyes are really sensitive. It’s *supposed* to last weeks, but I’ve only had mine on a couple of days now.
@boymom_, Thank you!! I totally understand. I made fun of falsies a lot but with extensions you can either make or break your look. They look way more natural than falsies.
@mediocreleah, that’s not bad at all considering they last so long wow! Thanks
@inkedsouthernbelle, Sorry, did’t answer your question about the cost. The clusters are generally around $8 and the gel was $30ish but you can get some for I think like $18.
@mediocreleah, what about the glue is that separate and what do you recommend? They really last 4 weeks? That’s great! I used to wear false lashes everyday for years but had to redo them every morning. This would be heaven if I could wear them that long
To be honest I always make fun of the fake crap, but I like yours they look very natural ! 👌🏼
@inkedsouthernbelle, I ordered the clusters from Amazon, and the gel from eBay. I did have a slight problem with Amazon though and noticed their sizes were inconsistent, & when I ordered from eBay the quality seemed better. Like on Amazon the 11mm was longer than the 12mm and didn’t look as full. 🤔 But then I got some 13mm from Amazon and those were really nice. Let me get the cases so I can show the difference.
@murdock_, That’s what I feel like I’d do... like seriously put them in the wrong spot & look like a complete clown haha.
You could always just go to a professional if it’s in your budget! There was a few times in my looking it up that I thought maybe I should just see a professional instead. Or just check out YouTube videos of girls doing it themselves and decide for yourself if it’s something you want to try. I tend to do everything at home so that’s the route I ended up taking. 🙈
How much were they and did you order them or buy in store somewhere? I need these in my life but don’t know anyone whose done it themselves so I got lots of questions hahaha
@mediocreleah, they are! I know lots of women put them on easily, but I cannot get it down. Like I always put them too high, and it doesn’t look natural at all. You have me curious with the extensions though! I’d really love to try it, even going to a professional
@murdock_, Absolutely! The gel was the most expensive thing — I got professional grade which was around $30. But that will last a long time, and anytime I want to buy the clusters they’re only like $8 on Amazon. :)
I’ve never tried falsies but they actually look pretty confusing. 😂
@mediocreleah, I’ve heard they take a while, so was curious. Practice for sure! I can’t even get falsies down 😂! It’s good that you saved money, too. That’s always a huge plus!
@josefa, Did you buy the eyelash extension gel (I got professional grade and it lasts weeks), with the eyelash clusters that go on individually? Or did you just use the glue that people use with falsies? I think there’s a lot of confusion over how this is different from regular falsies, which do only last a day.
@murdock_, It was... time consuming haha. Takes like an hour. The fumes from the gel burned a bit also, but I think my eyes are really sensitive. I watched some YouTube tutorials before buying the stuff to do it. Just one of those things that takes practice I think!
nice! i did it once for a day and also for my wedding day but i thought they only last for 1 use
@mediocreleah, you should feel glamorous! How was the application? Was it hard?
@murdock_, Thank you! I feel so glamorous. 😭😂 Wish I’d done this years ago.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Science!
My friend posted this on facebook last night and said her kids were asleep within minutes. It's a song that scientists created to help people fall asleep. I was skeptical but I thought what the hay, I'll try it out. I didn't bank on Dh falling asleep, but both him and lo were asleep by minute 2. And lo slept six straight hours. ?
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
@mediocreleah, looks great! You so purty. 😍
