Did my very own lash extensions. 😳 Technically my first time doing it. Aside from buying the gel (which is good for many applications), it’s much cheaper doing it this way than going to a professional. :p Also nicer than falsies, because these will last about 4 weeks.

nice! i did it once for a day and also for my wedding day but i thought they only last for 1 use
@murdock_, It was... time consuming haha. Takes like an hour. The fumes from the gel burned a bit also, but I think my eyes are really sensitive. I watched some YouTube tutorials before buying the stuff to do it. Just one of those things that takes practice I think!
@josefa, Did you buy the eyelash extension gel (I got professional grade and it lasts weeks), with the eyelash clusters that go on individually? Or did you just use the glue that people use with falsies? I think there’s a lot of confusion over how this is different from regular falsies, which do only last a day.
@mediocreleah, I’ve heard they take a while, so was curious. Practice for sure! I can’t even get falsies down 😂! It’s good that you saved money, too. That’s always a huge plus!
@murdock_, Absolutely! The gel was the most expensive thing — I got professional grade which was around $30. But that will last a long time, and anytime I want to buy the clusters they’re only like $8 on Amazon. :)
I’ve never tried falsies but they actually look pretty confusing. 😂
@mediocreleah, they are! I know lots of women put them on easily, but I cannot get it down. Like I always put them too high, and it doesn’t look natural at all. You have me curious with the extensions though! I’d really love to try it, even going to a professional
How much were they and did you order them or buy in store somewhere? I need these in my life but don’t know anyone whose done it themselves so I got lots of questions hahaha

You could always just go to a professional if it’s in your budget! There was a few times in my looking it up that I thought maybe I should just see a professional instead. Or just check out YouTube videos of girls doing it themselves and decide for yourself if it’s something you want to try. I tend to do everything at home so that’s the route I ended up taking. 🙈
@inkedsouthernbelle, I ordered the clusters from Amazon, and the gel from eBay. I did have a slight problem with Amazon though and noticed their sizes were inconsistent, & when I ordered from eBay the quality seemed better. Like on Amazon the 11mm was longer than the 12mm and didn’t look as full. 🤔 But then I got some 13mm from Amazon and those were really nice. Let me get the cases so I can show the difference.
@inkedsouthernbelle, The left were ones I received from an eBay seller and the right are from Amazon... Both 12mm. But the right were crap. So I guess I’d use caution with where you order from because there seems to be some fakes out there. 👀
To be honest I always make fun of the fake crap, but I like yours they look very natural ! 👌🏼
@mediocreleah, what about the glue is that separate and what do you recommend? They really last 4 weeks? That’s great! I used to wear false lashes everyday for years but had to redo them every morning. This would be heaven if I could wear them that long
@inkedsouthernbelle, Sorry, did’t answer your question about the cost. The clusters are generally around $8 and the gel was $30ish but you can get some for I think like $18.

@inkedsouthernbelle, The glue is separate, but some YouTube girls did buy a whole set that included the glue as well as the glue remover but idk it seemed cheap. It DOES sting, but my eyes are really sensitive. It’s *supposed* to last weeks, but I’ve only had mine on a couple of days now.

I would definitely mess this up I can't put on any lashes . I'm just going to pay that money unfortunately lol . You did a great job tho . They look real nice
