Is it normal for the baby to move one day and not move for 2 days? I’m a nervous mama right now

@beyond_beautifulx3 really my little man does the same he'll kick a little at night then goes to bed. But he's active during the day. And I just had a scare a couple days ago I wasnt feeling him much maybe 5 kicks the whole day I called my doctor they said to drink something cold and lay on my left side for 2 hours you should atleast get 10 kicks in those 2 hours if you dont then go to the hos. But try that first amd see what happens. I drank a slerpie he loved it...

@jennygrant955, I went to the hospital just in case bc I was having cramps and a really bad headache with it for 2 days

Never wait. It’s way better to get checked and feel better about baby’s safety than to ignore your anything and something bad happen

@inkedsouthernbelle, he usually moves during the day and sleeps at night

My baby did that towards the end and he was fine but you definitely need to check with your doctor to be certain. Don’t worry though baby’s probably just resting and moves when you’re asleep or something

@haneefsmommy, yeah I called them and they want me to come in bc of the cramping as well

There will be time your baby won't move at all..like dead. And you'll get super worried till one heavy kick hits you and you'll be all rainbows and candies again😂

But yeah don't be too embarrassed to call your docs:)

Deff contact your doctor right away! Don’t take any chances telling you from experience...

Past 28 wks you should feel baby moving in patterns that you can recognize. If you notice a change in that pattern you need to get checked out in the maternity emergency room which for my hospital and most others is l&d

@beyond_beautifulx3 call your dr and mention it. You should have felt significant movement inside of 2 days

Idk maybe bc I finally pooped he has more room lmao idk but I’m a little nervous

@newlyironman, little hiccups but that’s it nothing like it usually is

My daughter is usually soooo active. But the other day I noticed her movements seemed different and she was hardly moving at all. My OB checked on her during my appointment. The reason movement had changed was because she flipped breech. I was so used to her kicking my ribs but now she's kicking down low and I can hardly feel it. If you're concerned definitely talk to your doctor.
