Food pantries are ment to help those in need mama, you sound like you need it. Sure, you'll see people worse off than you, but that doesn't mean you don't need help too.

You are not wrong at all! Food pantries are there for people who can’t afford food. Whether it’s a one time thing or an every month thing. You gotta pay the bills so you and your children can have a place to live. I see it as anyone can use the food pantry as long as they don’t abuse the fact that it’s there and only go when you absolutely need to. You have every right to go.

In my opinion you should be able to go. I believe that’s what they should be for! To help families in need that are doing what they need to do to be productive members. If y’all both have full time jobs and ends still aren’t meeting I think you should be able to apply for food stamps.

@breee87 they told me I have to make below a certain amount to get stamps. Where as I know their are folks that have and still are abusing they system. And I have asked my friends that have multiple kids how they do it. They get gov aid. Yet they system isn't design well to help you move ahead. Which sucks

@lana30319, that’s what the problem is they give out “help” where it isn’t needed! They are giving folks food stamps who have no desire to get off their ass and work. I have friends who buy other people’s food stamps so those people can buy drugs and beer. It’s honestly sickening! I was in your shoes once! My hubby worked full time I was high risk pregnancy so I couldn’t work we weren’t making ends meet so I went to get food stamps they gave me $16 a month! They said my hubby made $20 a week to much to qualify. It was a slap in the face!
