Question for you Momma’s that have your CNA. How did you get it (in a class room or online) I am wanting to get my CNA but I am looking to see if I can take it online
I took it in class and ours was a week long.. 7 days for 8 hours each day and we did on site clinical and everything. I had a job the following week but it was probationary pending on how I did on the licensing
@mandynicole883, a friend said once I get my CNA I can work with her and they work Saturday and Sunday’s 12 hour shift and they make $15/hr and that would be good because then my parents can watch them because they are off on the weekends
They also paid me to get my cma and be insulin certified. If you dont have sitter how can you work as a cna?
The nursing home i worked at here in MO paid me minimum wage to go to class in the conference room. We had 120 days from the day we got hired to get our license. So basically no days off but it beats paying for it yourself. It was 8 hours 2 days a week. Cant remember how long the course its self was since i got my cna in 2011.
@madismommy, I am looking to see if I can find someone that did it online because I am looking to do it online because with 2 kids and no babysitter it will be so hard for me to go to class
The hospital i work at paid for mine I paid 900 and did 3 weeks 2 in a class with tests and homework and the last week clinicals then when you're done you have to sign up to take your state test and you get 3 chances to pass
