Yes it is. I suggest speaking to your ob because they can give you something. Depression is a disbalance in your brain, there are medications they can give you to help you. Also the ob should know to be extra attentive post delivery of baby

Very possible. Like said above it's really best to talk to your ob about it.

Yes it's a real thing unfortunately! Talk to your Dr as soon as you can it could get worse but it could also get better. Here if you need to vent girl! Went through this my second pregnancy

@vvrobinson, thank you I appreciate it , I do too. Especially cause it makes things hard cause me and my SO aren’t so close anymore and I don’t have anyone to talk to so I’m just making myself crazy cause I keep it in .

@zaviersmommyxoxo I get that. My mom had severe ppd. Rejected me entirely until I was 6 and then when I was 9 she had my sister and she rejected her for 6 months of her life. I knew I had a higher chance for it so I gave my husband full rights to have me committed if I was a danger to myself or my girls. But fortunately I had the opposite effect, I have euphoric happy feelings when they were born. As far as someone to talk to I really suggest finding a psychologist. I have been seeing mine for almost 5 years. It's amazing to have someone to listen and help me reframe my thoughts. I worked through years of abuse from my family with her and now I just use her for support since I'm a new mommy of two, married, young and don't have other sources of support.
