I’m 6 weeks and 4 days today been having some bleeding along with cramping for about 2-3 days took hcg test two days ago my levels are 1,733.9 mIU/mL my ob instructed me to not take any more blood test but moved my ultrasound up a week... I’m confused shouldn’t we be comparing the hcg levels? Or has this happened to anyone

Normally they test the hcg at least two times to make sure your numbers are doubling and not decreasing. 👍🏻 if the bleeding isn’t heavy and the cramps are severe I’m sure it’s nothing to worry to much about 💕

Bleeding and cramping can be normal in the first trimester. Try to rest until your ultrasound. Also, just FYI, this group is for women who’ve struggled with infertility and most have had invasive treatment like IUI or IVF to get pregnant. The general feed would probably be a better place for these questions. Wishing you a h&h 9 months!

Sometimes you know your body better than everyone else. Not every woman will produce high levels of hcg throughout pregnancy some it can take weeks some it can take months don’t trust a blood test don’t trust a urine test trust your heart and when you know it’s times it’s time this doctor was not a gynecologist so he did not give me a quantitative blood test to actually see what my hcg level is at I hope this helps some of you ladies who just feel like giving up and stop testing because of what everyone else thinks or what a doctor tells you trust your body you know your body better than a blood test and a pee test and god will lead you to the right path
