All depends on what breed you want and how much you’re willing to pay for a pup unless you’re going to a shelter. Shelter pups are usually all the same price.

Boxer. Can be pretty active but also super lazy lol.

Golden retriever, German shephards or labrador retrievers aka Lab.I have two goldens and they are perfect family dogs.

When your ready for a dog, I would look for a shelter, and you can put in your application what your looking for. I got my dog at 10 weeks, and she came with a free voucher so when she was old enough her spay, and first rabies shot was free. Even if they don’t have a dog for you right then, they will keep your folder on file, and contact you when they think they have a good match.

My Boston terrier is amazing. She doesn't bark, or jump, kids aren't scared of her, she will lick you to death, she is small enough and big enough all at once. I love her so much she is my sweetie and I haven't heard any bad things from other Boston owners. Except the fact that uneducated people think that they are baby pit bulls🤦‍♀️
