I dont understand. If it's supposed to be one size fits all then it should fit all...other wise stop making it and size everything properly.

Maybe because people generally want to be smaller, and not larger. And I believe that's because people place more shame, on overweight people. And a ton of other reasons. AND if it's "one size" that should mean "one size fits ALL".
