If you're planning to spend a few hours somewhere, its better to be a little over prepared than under prepared
It really depends how long your going to be out of the house, quick trips = less need for things like clothes and socks
Burp rags! That's what I forgot 😂 its been awhile since I took care of a baby
@sam.momx5 I always just carried his blanket over the car seat or across his lap 😏 never really used mittens because he'd pull them off so I used baby socks instead
With my first I took all sorts of stuff. Outfits, blankets, swaddler things, my boppy pillow. I ended up regretting it because then I had to wash a bunch of stuff when I got home. With my last 2 I only took a couple of outfits because I personally don't like the little shirts they give you to use and a blanket for the way home. But I used their receiving blankets and burp rags so I didn't have to wash anything. I didn't take diapers, wipes, or anything like bulb syringes or bath stuff because they provided all of it.
Edit: did you mean for the hospital or just diaper bag in general?
Diapers ,wipes ,receiving blanket, 5 outfits ,diapers, pacifier, bottle, hat and mittens ,extra socks, alcohol wipes for belly button, colic drops just in case ,thermometer
Wipes, diapers (3-5 at all times) ointment, butt paste, an outfit + two pairs of socks, a backup onesie, bottle, a formula divider and two bottles of water to make making up bottles easier (I didn't breastfeed) the extra bottle of water I would use to rinse out the bottle after a feeding if I wasn't around a sink. A little bag of kleenex. When he got a little bit older, snacks, changes of underwear.
I'm probably forgetting something, I was always prepared for anything 😂😂😂

Ok, im just going to put this out there. Don't act like you have never went through your man's phone, wallet or pockets. It may not be because you are suspicious, it could just be "oh, whats this?" It doesnt mean you don't trust him, you could just be curious.
