I so wish I could have a baby shower this time around. With my son we hadn’t bought hardly anything yet and after the baby shower we were given so much that we didn’t have to buy hardly anything on our own. I was able to take back a lot of stuff (like doubles of things) and used the money from that to get what else he needed. This time around we’re so far away from our family that we won’t be able to have one. 😣😓

Have a virtual one if you want one with your family or maybe plan it far enough in advance to where they could come visit you for it.

Its never to late to get started. Verses not doing anything at all. Plus if not a baby shower. Be creative and do a baby meet and greet. If the family is not a tremendous way out. If hubby can get a few days off. Have it kinda like how it was for Baby Jesus. People present gifts and blessed the baby.

We live in Florida and our family is all in Missouri so unfortunately we couldn’t have them come. My MIL is coming to stay with us towards the very end of my pregnancy to stay with my son during L&D, and then a couple days after to spend some time with the baby. I wanted to make a trip back home before the baby but unfortunately I spent the last time we went home(I was pregnant) in the ER because I couldn’t stop vomiting and was extremely dehydrated. I made a registry online though for the family who might still want to get us something. @queenmeeks, @lana30319,
