Anyone else lose their mother or have no family? Another kid without her and holidays just get so hard every year I thought loss was supposed to get better with time but its way harder now than it was when I was 12. Not looking forward to my boys asking about their grandparents when they get older 😢😢

My mom died when I was ten. Loss does get easier over time, but it all comes back when you're an adult and realize all the stuff you, and your kids, miss out on. As a child you don't really think about that, just the immediate, but as an adult you realize how much a mother loves her kids, how much you want to do with them. It sucks.

I lost my dad when I was 21. It sucks that he never got to meet my kids. My 4 year old started asking about him this past year. She thought my mom’s bf was my dad (even though we talk about my dad but to her he’s just a picture) and now occasionally she asks questions about him. I’m just honest and open with her and I almost always cry but that’s ok.

Sorry about your mom. ❤️

I lost my dad when I was 23. He committed suicide. I’m any only child and he always tried to find something we were both interested in. My now husband has so many of his interests. I’m now pregnant with my second child. I often get sad, thinking that if he’d just waited everything he was wanting was right around the corner. It’s been ten years in October.

My mom passed away last August so I’ve had a very difficult year since every holiday and birthday was the first one without her. Then it didn’t help that I had just had a baby, he was only 5 months old when she passed, so now she’s missing out on him growing up. Every time he does something new or something cute I wish I could share it with her. We were very close, I miss her sooo much and think about her all the time. I’m sorry you’re having a hard time, losing a loved one is so hard.

Yes. I lost my mother while I was pregnant with my son and then 4 years after that I lost my father today's his birthday. I was saying the same thing it doesn't get any easier honey and sometimes the pain is very intense and sometimes the pain isn't as bad. Moment by moment it's all you can do. Well at least that is what I tell myself. My other half don't have his parents either. Even though we both have siblings and aunties and uncles it's just us

I lost my mom when I was 12, my dad when I was 17, my mother-in-law 6 months later, and my FIL doesn’t have any thing to do with my kids.

I hate that the 3 people who would love the opportunity to be grandparents aren’t here, and we’re stuck with the pos that can’t bother to return a phone call, even though he only lives 15 minutes away.

Birth Plan Rant I used to be all about getting an epidural, but after research and thinking about it more I want to have an unmedicated birth (this is my first baby). What annoys me is when I say that I'm going to TRY my hardest to have a natural and unmedicated birth people always feel the need to say that I'm crazy or that I'm going to change my mind when I get in that position. Or that epidurals are the best. I do realize that plans change, but why can't people be supportive and encouraging?
