Does anyone know how to seal ceramic tiles? I painted this for a friend using acrylic on a glazed ceramic tile, now I’m not sure where to go from here. Not sure if I can just bake it, or if I need to seal and bake? And if I seal it, what’s best to use? Google is yielding no consistent results and I don’t want to mess it up doing something I’m not sure will work. Any tips would be much appreciated! I need to give it to my friend soon.

Not 100% sure but I saw this video on IG the other day that said to seal ceramic tiles with Kamar Varnish

I’m not 100% sure you can really seal acrylic I was looking into this and kept reading that you need to use ceramic paints

Thank you guys, I didn’t come up with the design, she had some made for her kids when they were born but the lady who makes them doesn’t do it anymore. I paint so she asked me to replicate it, I’ve just never painted on tile before.

@csavage, sorry 😬 now I was researching regarding washable dishes so maybe as long as it’s a display piece it will hold up!

Hodgepodge I believe is the name of the stuff you can put over it to keep it on. At least that's what I used
