When did you guys put your babies carseat in the car?

The day my husband picked me up from the hospital

At the hospital. If you get into an accident with the car seat in the car then it needs to be replaced, so I didn’t want to install it very early.

I was in a crazy nesting stage for 2mths prior to birth so I had babies car seat in around 32 weeks 😅

Um when Leaving the hospital. Hub Probably set up base sometime during hospital stay... Didn't realize it was something to do in advance 🤷🏾‍♀️

My husband installed ours when we were ready to head to the hospital. First was when my water broke and second was when my contractions were regular.

@ladyblauvelt.skysmomma, we had the car seat& stroller set since I was like 30w lol it was just chilling in the plastic in my closet until I was 36w and I took it out to air the plastic smell out of the fabric lol and completely forgot about it until the day I went into labor. 😂😂

39-40 weeks. It’s good to practice how to put it in and read the manual early on though.

With my first I put it in at like 32 weeks and this one at like 35 weeks

@lorany we've had the carseat in the car for a while it just hasn't been strapped in yet

The day she was released from the hospital. Me going into labor was very unexpected though. I was supposed to be induced the day after I went into labor so we would’ve put the car seat base in that morning.
