So my baby definitely is not ready for the pot... at least I don’t think so I wish people would stop suggesting I potty train him he will do everything in due time not on anyone else rushed timing ... but anyway I tried to make him sit on the pot but he won’t stay sitting back he keeps standing in the pot part and I really just don’t think he is ready yet.. he isn’t really talking enough to let us know when he needs to us it either

My kids were almost 2 and a half and one day just started going on the potty I didn’t force train any of my girls and they all 3 have had maybe 2/3 accidents over night since. I waited till they were ready. He’ll get there one day I would just wait till he seems extremely interested in it and go from there.

My daughters 2.5 years and I haven’t started yet. She’s curious but I’m waiting for her to ask. I won’t rush these things. I don’t want to potty train for months. More like a week or two. If they understand it and are able to communicate well, you just have to enforce the habit. Take your time Xx

New studies show it’s better to wait until 3 because forcing a child to hold their bladders before their young can cause problems later on. No shame to anyone who chooses to do it at 2. I’m just saying that it can be beneficial to wait until 3, or you feel they can actually hold their bladders

I made a huge mistake of trying to early and it confused her so bad!! If they aren’t ready they aren’t ready. I’ll make sure I see signs this time before I start with my son.

This is Henry. Im ready to train him but just had my daughter and we in the middle of moving. Im definitely ready to train him though. Have to buy double the diapers is getting me. He is saying potty, pee, and poo but not when he needs to.
