My son has had every shot except the flu shot. Why? Because I’ve had every shot so I see no reason why he shouldn’t too.

My kids get all of theirs. I find it better to prevent illness than end up in the hospital or dead due to an outbreak.

I vaccinate and I will continue to. I would rather my child have the slim chance of reacting to a vaccine as opposed to her possibly ending up with a preventable disease that could end her life. My child is also a preemie so it was even more important to us to vaccinate her. There was never a question as to if she would be vaccinated or not.

We vaccinate. My daughter got every shot except the flu shot. And she’s never been sick yet 🤞🏽 we choose to vaccinate because vaccinations were made for a reason , to keep us safe from horrible diseases. I’m not gonna risk my child getting a horrible disease over her maybe having some fever after a shot (which she still never had btw)

I'm asking because other than the flu shot, I was hospitalized for taking the pneumonia shot 2 years ago and when my daughter had hers the first time she was hospitalized for it. So I'm not sure I want her to have it again... also I never had the chickenpox shot because I had the chickenpox and I'm not sure if I would rather her have them than get the shot... my little brother had the shot and ended up with chickenpox and shingles so idk.

Well according to my doctor I can never have the pneumonia shot again or it will kill me. As for all the other shots my daughter is normally up to date on everything except we do not take the flu shot because she took her first flu shot and was so sick that she had to go to the hospital for that as well. So we will never take the flu shot and if she takes the pneumonia shot again then I will probably make sure they give that to her alone so we can watch her carefully. Everything else though she does have.

We vaccinate, because he’s only covered under my immunity for his first six months of life. After that, he’s on his own and id rather give him the best line of defense to keep him safe and alive. I don’t give him the flu shot due to the fact that the strain is changing every year and the vaccination only covers the prior years strain.
