Has anyone ever been evicted from an apartment? My fiancé and I just recently got new jobs so our pay checks are off now. Long story short we aren’t able to pay rent and our apartments can’t work with us. If you’ve been evicted how did the process go and have u ever had trouble renting another place since then?

A while back I had been faced with eviction for “nonpayment of rent” even though I paid it. They sent us a letter and said either were out in 5 days or they are evicting us. Not sure if there’s an eviction on my record or not. Haven’t actively tried renting since
My brother got evicted and it screwed up his rental history. His landlord took it to court and he was given a 30 day notice to vacate for non payment of rent. It’s always hard for him to find a decent place to live and even if he can find a landlord willing to take a chance on him, he more often than not is charged a double deposit. Evictions really mess you up.
My friend got evicted and she wasn’t able to move into decent apartments again. She was able to sell move into a rental house but not in a good city, she had to pay way more for deposits too.
How much rent do you pay for the house/apartment you rent?
So we have no food in our house and no money so whatever we had I let my husband and kids eat. I'm so hungry. I haven't eaten since yesterday. I wish we weren't so behind on rent. Next week we have to pay our phone bill and the week after we have to pay rent again. I'm so sick on not being able to have food in our home.
So my bf and I got a new apartment and we move in Friday, buttttt they are going to file an eviction on Wednesday for the apartment I'm in now because I haven't paid the rent for this month (can't afford to pay 2 rents) .... How does an eviction work? I hate that they're going to do that..😢 will I be able to stay here til I can move in the other apartment Friday??? I'm n NC by the way. I'm trying not to stress over this.
What is the normal rent for a 1br / 1ba in your area? I’m currently paying $857 a month & I really feel like it’s overpriced
Rent going way up
We rent a 4 bedroom house and currently pay $1065. With taxes it comes out to $1085. They just sent a lease renewal to sign. They want to raise it to $1279 before taxes. Thats just crazy to me! Its owned by a rental company. We've always payed by the 1st and have been good tenants. Is this normal?
Is there a way to make at least a partial payment? Sell some stuff to make your rent payment?
