The only thing that’s ever helped my daughters rash is the healer stick from perfectly posh. It has essential oils in it and heals it within 1-2 days. I’ve tried Vaseline, coconut oil, desitin, and hazel diaper cream. None of them worked for us. We also use pampers swaddlers and pampers sensitive wipes. They also have a line of sensitive and natural stuff as well but I haven’t tried it.

@squishymommy1, we found that wipes were causing a lot of rash issues for my son, so we switched to using baby washcloths as wipes with warm water. Then we'd pat him dry with another washcloth. We also used Vitamin A & D ointment as a protective barrier against the urine irritating his bottom.
Oooh! ChicanaCrazy 🤷🏽♀️·
@squishymommy1 on no 😣 gosh I hate rashes they can be so tricky. Hopefully the cloth will help. Lots of bare booty time if you can.

@pettybetty, coconut oil actually made it worse! I think he might be allergic to coconut. It gave him hives all over his tush!
Oooh! ChicanaCrazy 🤷🏽♀️·
@squishymommy1 one of my sons kept a rash that we couldn't get rid of. Creams galore, doctor swore it was yeast but we couldn't get rid of it with anything he gave us. So I went searching for anything. We ended up making a concoction that worked really well, and use it on our youngest now.
just mix in a small spray bottle. Hot water, coconut oil, and aloe gel. After it cools to room temp, we use it as a srpay for our dry wipes. (We use cloth wipes) you could also spray bottom and just let air dry. Coconut oil will kill yeast and aloe will sooth.
Coconut oil can be applied directly to the skin to kill yeast as well. (You may already know this or have tried. Just trying to help)

@pettybetty, covers definitely worked best for us but I couldn’t use cloth when going out because I had to be on top of changing her or pee. So much pee. Also I was the only one willing to use them so if I had to go somewhere we used disposables anyway.
squishymommy1·
@pettybetty, 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ it started when I weaned him. I’ve been slathering him with yeast rash cream and diaper rash cream. Just in case it was yeast. It doesn’t seem to be helping so I don’t think it’s yeast. Or it is yeast and the disposables were just not letting it heal. We’ll see.

@kittywearingmama we had this issues and found flats and covers were the best for us. Hubba uses pockets and aios bc he can't do the folds, so we have an assortment lol
Oooh! ChicanaCrazy 🤷🏽♀️·
Do you know what is causing the rash? (Im assuming not) Yeast maybe?
squishymommy1·
@kittywearingmama, I’ve been lucky to never have heavy wetters.

@pettybetty, they are cute! Hoping they help his poor tushy

I loved cloth diapering but my daughter out peed every combination I tried so we stopped and she still can out pee a disposable 😒
Oooh! ChicanaCrazy 🤷🏽♀️·
@squishymommy1 I know they aren't for every one. I love our cloth and hate disposables lol. Those are super cute prints tho.
