My iud implanted in my cervix and I had bleeding, brown discharge, painful sex.

How long have you had it in for? I believe spotting and discharge is considered normal for the first few months as your body adjusts to having it in.

When I had mine, I would begin spotting or have brown discharge pretty regularly for the 2 years I had it. Nothing was wrong, no infections or pregnancies. I had the mirena, which has a low amount of progesterone. Years previously, I’d tried a progesterone-based pill as well and had the same thing happen. Apparently my body doesn’t like progesterone BC.

@daniellebreakfieldd, I guarantee it lol that’s how mine happened I was in a lot of pain and was having brown discharge then bam positive test my baby is only 8 weeks

@mluvs7, but it’s not from my rectum it’s from my vagina. And sex is very painful. Like we haven’t been able to have sex for a month now.
