What was your sleep training schedule? My bf is trying it with our son. But I dont think he really knows what hes doing
@avianlouiebos, that’s usually a good day and it’s what I try to aim for. I totally understand though. The last week hasn’t been like that. He’s been waking every hour from 11:30pm to 2am and then 5 am, 8am. So I’m exhausted but hopefully it passes soon.
@carusod91 late bed times suck but damn thats even better than my son that sounds so nice to me honestly. he usually doesnt go down until midnight and then some days hes up at 5 am and he usually cant go past 3 hours without a feed i might get 4 hours if im lucky. I know every baby is different and im not trying to say its easy for you at all but damn sleeping for 12 hours straight and 6 hours without a feed sounds like a dream to me at least you can get a few hours of sleep in a row im lucky if I get 3 in one day
My sons bedtime is around 11:30pm and he sleeps till 11:30am with a feed before sleeping , a feed around 5:30am and a feed at around 8:30am and when he wakes up. From there he’s awake for about 1.5-2 hrs before nap , so anytime it’s been 1.5-2 hrs I get him and cuddle and ready to nap. Sometimes he needs to eat to sleep because he wakes up right away from naps when he’s hungry
@beakymcspence, @spookylyn, what is the topic of their technique if you know what I'm trying to ask. I don't know how to word my question. What's this technique about
I started sleep training all three of mine within a few weeks but it wasn’t anything strict. Basically just starting a routine of eat, play, sleep at the same times. But if they were hungry and it wasn’t “on schedule” I fed them and just adjusted from there. No cry it out or anything like that. It’s important to watch their sleep cues and put them down for a nap or bed before they get overtired, because then it’s a nightmare.
@spookylyn, Yep I sure do, and I also have the baby on the block series. I saved up my plum points so long and ordered it on the chapters online forum. I prefer shopping online then driving to red deer to chapters haha
@laniejay, is totally right, and I don’t believe we really started sleep training till about 11 months. I’d done quite a bit of reading in the months leading up to it also.
I would wait. He'll sleep through eventually he's just a baby.
@spookylyn, Yep!! So worth the money. I bought this and swear by it.
Even sleep training advocates say not to start until after 6 months. If you choose to do so, I highly recommend researching and knowing what you’re doing as it can harm your child.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
My baby was on enfamil gentlease but he was throwing up with it so they switched him to enfamil nutramigen and hes throwing up a ton more with it like alot hes been on it since 9/20 what should i do?

Y’all please please be careful and monitor what these babies are watching on YouTube thank god my baby didn’t understand what the thing was saying he showed me the phone and said “scary mama” I think continued to listen to what the thing was saying and I was livid and horrified it was explaining to my son how to kill the whole family while everyone was asleep
@carusod91 yea hes so confused about bed time idk why he fell asleep at 9pm then woke up at 10pm and hes still up probably wont go down until midnight again
