My son woke up last night with a super bad bloody nose, like constant bleeding. We only ended up being able to stop it by pinching his nose for 10 minutes. It's never happened before, freaked me out so bad, we almost went to the ER.

@okaykayluhh, yes, definitely recommend using a humidifier. With my son's nose bleeds happening so frequently, we took him to an ENT who cauterized the blood vessel that was closest to the surface and seemed to be causing the most problems. He had one minor nose bleed since then, in the other nostril, none in the side that was cauterized.

Just to share.
I used to get 3 hour nose bleeds. Doctors told me I have veins that are very close to the surface that randomly burst and won’t stop until they get cauterized. I have to see an ears nose and throat specialist. They would be so bad that I would soak a whole towel. My last bad one made me have a phobia of doctors looking up my nose or anything going up my nose. I literally pass out. The ambulance couldn’t get my nose to stop. It took 5 of the sticks that they use to cauterize it. Very very painful.
What's up with these nose bleeds? Never experienced this!

Yay for migraines I have them almost everyday, sometimes with nose bleeds sometimes not. Today my nose bleed was so bad it was pouring out of my nose and I couldn’t breathe and was choking on the blood going down my throat. This is after it calmed down.🙃

@okaykayluhh, it’s ok. Knock on wood it’s been a whole 2 and a half years since my last bleed
