Only 50% efaced still and was at a 1 last week now I’m dilated to 1 in a half but was told my cervix is still kinda high and hard I got three weeks left till my due date I really hope baby boy dilates me more before then
So threw up the brew but still having some contractions. I suppose it will help dilation. Sigh so I guess my appointment for Friday to get monitoring is still on . I hope my fluids stay consistent.
Super weird I lost like 3 pounds at my apt today. Still only 1-2 dilated but 50% effaced. Slowly getting there like at the speed of a turtle.
How do you know if you are dilated? Does your water have to break so you can be dilated? I'm 38 weeks and I still don't feel labor stuff lol
My doctor said he would induce my labor at 38 weeks, if my baby girl still had growth issues and if the percentile dropped to 10 or less. Last thursday, it was 10 percentile, and he said if she didn't come on her own by 38 weeks, he would induce labor at that time. I'm 36 weeks 1 day today, he said my cervix was super thin, and 1cm dilated. Is there a possibility this can change... that my doctor will let her just come on her own? I don't want to be induced, i would much rather her come on her own when she is ready to come ! As much as I am anxious to meet her and have her home with me, those last few weeks of brain development and lung maturation means so much more to me! I'm hoping and praying that things turn around, and I don't have to get induced. I'm surely going to talk to my doctor about it Thursday when I go back.

I was a 1 when my water broke. Many are at 3 or 4 for weeks before delivery. He will come when ready, doesn't sound like he's ready yet!

You will, its inevitable. In order for labor to happen you have to have a soft cervix and should be dilated more. I wouldn't stress about it
