There’s no need until labor is suspected. Dilation is no indicator of when it will occur until you’re actually in labor. Kudos to them for not pushing cervical checks.

I've been having alot of contractions on and off since Tuesday and lost some mucus plug. That's the only reason why I asked them. Yeah I totally understand them not doing them she explained that it raises risk for infection.

As long as they’re not consistent, it’s still not needed. It’s hard to wait and not know when you see all these moms post frequent updates, but it’s for the better

@laniejay they would be consistent for like 3 and 4 hours at a time. 10 minutes apart.

They checked me Monday, no contractions so far so I was shocked to be at 2cm already. I've been losing lots of my plug tho.

@50.shades.of.tired yes. I'm getting checked at next appointment they said at 38 weeks. I've been losing some plug and having some pretty bad contractions. I want to make it till my due date though.

Definitely same. I'm not wanting her early.

@kaylacarese I'm 37weeks 4 days my doctor check my cervix two weeks ago and I was dilated at 1 I'll be 38 weeks Monday and will be checked on Wednesday my due date July 23, 😂🤣🙏

I already been having contractions they're not consistent but they been off and on been feeling a lot of pressure at the bottom of my stomach and walking like a penguin lol I know my son will be here when he ready to come I just have to be patient and wait

I haven't been checked but exact same thing on the contractions they will come and go consistantly for hours at a time then go away. I haven't been checked yet. And yes I feel a pressure that feels like a 50 pound weight is in my pelvis. Lol

Mine was like a brownish kinda color. Looks like snot. Lol
